Art plays a critical role in the culture of the Ohio, including Tipp City. In an effort to promote creativity, an appreciation for the outdoors, and a great time out in the community, the Tipp City Area Arts Council is hosting Tipp City Paint Out this October.
The event will be en plein air, a French expression that means “in the open air,” used to describe the act of painting outdoors.
Everyone is invited to attend the Tipp City Paint Out from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street. Following the painting session, the wet paint exhibit will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contact [email protected] for the exact date, still pending at this time.
You don’t have to be an experienced painter to participate; all skill levels are welcome. If you’ve ever had the urge to pick up a brush, head out to Main Street to help capture the beauty of fall in a community-wide creative event!
The Tipp City Area Arts Council is dedicated to the development and promotion of western Ohio’s visual, musical, physical, and literary arts. The council hosts classes for art showings, contests, and performances throughout the year to engage Tipp City and support local artists.
