For many creative people in Dayton and throughout the Midwest, the best part of fall is the endless supply of crafts and decorations that celebrate the precursor to winter. Arrays of browns and oranges, pumpkins and leaves, and turkeys fill the shelves, tables, porches, and kitchens around Dayton.
In the spirit of autumn and all the crafting possibilities that come with it, the Dayton Fall Fling Craft Fair is almost here. The annual event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fairhaven Church in Centerville, Ohio.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Family Network, the Miami Valley Down-Syndrome Association, and the Kettering Backpack Program.
This year’s event will include handmade items such as children’s clothing, jewelry, hair and fashion accessories, and bath and body items, as well as home and holiday décor.
Shoppers will have the chance to visit many types of vendors all in one place while enjoying delicious baked goods! (Pumpkin roll, anyone?)
More importantly, by attending the Dayton Fall Fling Craft Fair, you will be supporting a good cause. The Family Network is a non-profit organization, founded in 1987, that consists primarily of stay-at-home moms from all over the Greater Dayton, Ohio area.
The organization helps parents make connections with other parents while creating lasting memories with their children.
From all of us at Lovett & House Co., LPA, we hope you have a great time at the Fall Fling Craft Fair, located at 637 E. Whipp Road in Centerville.
