Locally grown fruits and vegetables, homemade baked goods, beautiful garden plants, and a huge selection of handmade products can all be found in downtown Tipp City, Ohio. Every Saturday from 9am to noon until September 15th, all of these locally-produced goods will be offered by the vendors at the Tippecanoe Farmer’s Market on 4th street between Main Street and Dow Street.
This market has provided my kitchen with tasty baked goods from vendors like Cookie Crazed Mama and Our Daily Bread. There are also plenty of vendors offering fresh vegetables and fruits, so you can have ingredients to use in your own kitchen. You can find a little bit of everything at many of the booths, but some vendors are known for a specialty. Elizabeth Farms is known for their zucchini and bell peppers while BF Berry Farm brings tasty strawberries, raspberries and homemade jam.
Finally, you can’t forget about the home goods and decorations offered by booths run by small businesses or local craft makers. You can find handmade jewelry, locally-written books, lotions, and artwork sold by various vendors at the market. Each piece is unique and can make for a great conversation starter as well as a useful or decorative touch to your home.
