May marks an exciting time at the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, Ohio. Several musical and community events will ring in summer the right way, and the whole community is invited to join in the fun.
At Lovett & House CO., LPA, we love seeing our community come together, have fun, and get involved. With a motto like “America’s largest community of brick homes,” we know that the city of Huber Heights is a strong one. There’s no better proof of a tight-knit, strong community than an event where everyone can get together and enjoy the area and each other. We found an event that will do just that, and we hope that Huber Heights residents have the opportunity to attend.
Community Open House, Sunday May 3, 2015 – 1:00pm
What better way to celebrate the Huber Heights community than by attending a community open house? This event is fit for everyone—young children and adults. The event is free and is an opportunity to tour the new Rose Music Center venue. You’ll even have temporary access to the main stage and back stage dressing rooms where performers prepare for a show.
Local bands like The Brothers in Arms and Sonic Mojo will provide the music. The first 2,000 people to arrive will receive a complimentary Rose Music Center Inaugural Season lanyard and ticket holder. If you’re a summer concertgoer, then these gifts will come in handy—so arrive early!
The fun doesn’t stop with free gifts, though. Concession stands will provide food and beverage for purchase—but the purchase won’t cost you much. Hot dogs are $1.00, fountain drinks are $1.00, and domestic beers are only $2.00. There will even be Skyline Chili. That’s not much money for a decent meal and time well spent with neighbors and friends.
Kicking off the open house at 1pm is an official ribbon cutting and special recognition of the new venue by elected officials. The Wayne High School band will march everyone in to the brand new venue.
Don’t know much about the Rose Music Center? Well, this intimate, state-of-the art concert facility seats 4,200 and has a roof that protects music listeners from the elements. The elevated tier design of the seating was made to give every concertgoer a music experience with exceptional sight lines and acoustics. To bring the experience full circle, making even the farthest house seats great seats, are two large LED video screens on both sides of the stage.
The amenities don’t stop there; this venue ensures that nothing can stop the music. The venue is located at “Crossroads of America” in Huber Heights and has a well-lit parking lot that will make travelling to and from concerts effortless. There are large ceiling fans inside the pavilion that will stir up a breeze on even the hottest summer nights. But don’t just read about it! Go and explore this wonderful venue with your family and friends at the open house on May 3rd.
Can’t make it to the open house? That’s okay; there are plenty of opportunities to explore the Rose Music Center this May and the rest of the summer. Check out the events page on the website and plan a trip to the music center to catch some live music in Huber Heights.
