Aside from serving on our City Council for eight years and being Tipp City’s Mayor, my professional highlight was becoming a certified specialist in estate planning, trust, and probate law by the Ohio State Bar Association. There are 47,000 lawyers in Ohio, but less than 150 of us have this designation. It means we have been peer reviewed by fellow attorneys and judges and have been found to be the best practitioners in our area. It means I have devoted thousands of hours to this type of work and I had to pass a very difficult examination. It is proof I have a lot of expertise as an elder law attorney.
