September is the month to experience great food and diverse cultures at several different festivals in and near Dayton!

Greek Festival
The food festival season begins the weekend after Labor Day with the 56th annual Greek Festival. This event will celebrate all things Greek, including food, drinks, cooking, music, dance, and more. Kids will have fun in the festival’s Zorba Zone.
Greek Festival will take place at 500 Belmonte Park (next to the Dayton Art Institute). The festivities will start on Friday, September 5 at 11 a.m. and run through Sunday, September 7. Admission costs $2 for adults and is free to children under 12. On Friday, admission is free!
Italian Fall Festival
The Italian Fall Festival will celebrate the best Italian food and music. The festival will also feature fun games, such as Bocce ball games, a spaghetti eating contest, and the Meatball Madness 5K Run. Live entertainment rounds off a great family-friendly festival!
This festival will take place starting on Friday, September 5 at 6 p.m. It ends on Sunday, September 7. Admission and parking are both free.
Beavercreek Popcorn Festival
Don’t be fooled: there’s more than just popcorn at the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival. You’ll find more than 200 booths with popcorn and other foods as well as crafts and services. The festival will also include exciting events and entertainment, including live music, a car show, and the Popcorn 5K.
The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival is set to take place on September 6 and 7.
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is not only one of Dayton’s best food festivals; it’s also the largest fundraiser for the Dayton Art Institute. Come support an important cultural institution in our area while also enjoying a variety of beers, wines, and foods with family and friends.
Oktoberfest will take place on the grounds of the Dayton Art Institute. The three-day festival begins with the Lederhosen Lunch on Friday, September 26 and ends on Sunday, September 28.
