Animals, carnival rides, exhibits, food, and entertainment: you can find all of these things and more at the Miami County Fair!
The fair is a great place to enjoy quality time with your kids or grandkids. There is something for everyone: you’ll find exhibits of all kinds, including those on livestock, gardening, art, cooking, and more. Your kids will enjoy trying to win a prize at the many games and riding the exciting carnival rides. You can watch FFA members compete in livestock shows, and horse shows (including an equestrian drill team and a barrel racing competition) also promise to be fun to watch.
This year’s musical entertainment includes country singer Chase Rice, with special guest Sam Hunt. Don’t forget to get your tickets, which are sold separately fro admission to the fair.
The Miami County Fair will take place August 8-14 in Troy, Ohio—just a short drive from Dayton. General admission is $5 for those nine and over. Children eight and under get in free!
