The K12 Gallery for Young People is a nonprofit arts organization and a great resource for Dayton residents of all ages. The organization offers a number of educational exhibitions, workshops, and classes for not only young people but adults as well, which can be the perfect opportunity to expose your children or grandchildren to art while getting creative yourself.
K12 Gallery’s latest programs for adults take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesday’s classes teach painting, and Thursday’s classes feature pottery making. The instructors welcome interested individuals of all levels of skill. Admission to the classes is $15 per class for members of K12 and $25 for non-members. Seniors and college students get a good discount, at $10 per class.
For more information about these classes, call 461-5149 or visit the Downtown Dayton event page. You can learn more about K12 Gallery’s learning opportunities for children and teens at the organization website.
